Meet the inspiration behind Heaven Sent Pets—Kimba. 🥰

From the moment I saw her, my heart melted and I knew this ridiculously adorable puppy was meant to be mine. To me, she looked like a white little lion. Some of you may remember an old Japanese animated cartoon called Kimba the White Lion, so I named her Kimba and she was my beloved “furry child” for almost 16 years.

Part Golden Retriever, part Samoyed—with a pink nose, blonde eyelashes, a sprinkle of freckles on her face, and a Charlie Chaplin mustache—she stopped strangers in their tracks. Everyone wanted to know her breed. 

My answer: One-Of-A-Kind. 🐕🦮🐩🐶

Together, we played at dog beaches splashing in the ocean, walked neighborhood streets greeting everyone who wanted to say hello, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. So many wonderful years and memories together.

I quite simply adored her and I know she adored me.

Kimba crossed the Rainbow Bridge years ago, but my love for her continues on. That’s the funny thing about love: it doesn’t end.

I was so blessed to be her mom.
